Chinese tyre industry is doing business as "Every thing is fare in business". which is hampering indian tyre industry as well as conning the indian customers. Here are some points which depicts the same:
* Inferior quality radial tyres drom china disguised as bias tyres are being supplied in indian market,which is circumveting indias import norms.
*chinese truck tyre imports are up from 750,074 tyres(in 2006-07)to 1,187,939 tyres.
*Unfair malpractices in trade are being carried out both by chinese industries as well as traders. Threat for India :
* Decrease in market share of indian tyre industries .
* can decrease the GDP.
* unfair trade practices will lead to less taxes and duties. Steps to be taken by indian govt. *Govt. should suit the illegal traders and industries.
*Ban on loading vehicle tyres should be there as they are major player in contribution of gdp of our country.
* Imports of tyre from actual manufacturer instead of traders.
ATMA chairman: Mr. Raghupati singhania said The only way to effectively stop import of poor quality radial tyres in other guises would be inclusion of bias tyres too on the restricted category list.
JKTYRE only indian tyre brand which sales its tyre in china with its own brand name is ready to face challenge but what for others.
